Masala Makhana
Ingredients
- 2 cups makhana/fox nuts
- 3/4 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 Tbsp Makhana masala
Makhana Masala
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp ginger powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp amchur powder
- 1 tbsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp chaat masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp salt
Method
- Mix all the spices together to make Makhana masala.
- Dry roast the makhana (fox nuts).
- Turn off the heat, add oil and 1 tbsp of masala. Mix it well and once cooled, store in an airtight container.
Tip: Keep the Makhana masala in an airtight container for future use.
