Masala Makhana


Ingredients

  • 2 cups makhana/fox nuts
  • 3/4 tablespoon olive oil 
  • 1 Tbsp Makhana masala

Makhana Masala

  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger powder 
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp amchur powder 
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp chaat masala
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tbsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar 
  • 1 tbsp salt

Method

  1. Mix all the spices together to make Makhana masala.
  2. Dry roast the makhana (fox nuts).
  3. Turn off the heat, add oil and 1 tbsp of masala. Mix it well and once cooled, store in an airtight container.

Tip: Keep the Makhana masala in an airtight container for future use.
